How it all started …..

In 1997 the PQS group was founded by Maikel Hendriks (precision engineer) to provide guidance to computerized machine builders in CE-marking.

In 2000 the machine tool industry was in crisis… and also PQS had to re-focus. There was one large account that was not affected, they were fast growing in computer controlled manufacturing of teeth from scans. These products needed CE-mark (Medical Devices). PQS was able to realize market access and created an Access-to-Markets model. Soon more companies were interested, specifically in OTC Market.

In 2002 PQS was requested to obtain a registration for an investment company in which all operations were outsourced, but the company wanted to maintain Manufacturer status. This company made only one product, WARTNER and was managed by only three people. A sales person, finance person and quality regulatory person.  Together we created the success of the Wartner brand. After since PQS was grown rapidly by consulting in realizing Health Claim in medical devices and pharmaceutical products.

In 2005 Progressare was established as a new activity to provide product formulation and licensing.

In 2007 a new company has been founded, YouMedical, by Jan Herweijer and Maikel Hendriks. Soon the business model of outsourcing was implemented and new products became successful.

In 2009 a new company has been established, Progressare Medinvest, in which Pieternella Bouter and Maikel Hendriks are developing products to create a new segment in health claims……
